After the patterns in black and white were clear, I incorporated colors from the design system into the process.
Finding the Best Contrast
I looked at both Normal and Reversed options to compare contrast levels.
Interpolated the Colors
To determine the appropriate contrast level, I estimated color values from the Workday Design System.
