Service Design
Girl Effect was founded by the Nike Foundation with the goal of ending global poverty. Digital currency is a concept I explored with them in 2014 to drive resources to girls in developing countries.
Our goal was to develop a strategy for digital currency. In one month, I led a team consisting of an interaction designer and a technologist to develop a service design strategy to help realize the vision of digital currency within the Girl Effect framework.
From the service design experience map, I explored the potential of an iPhone app to demonstrate actions a girl would donate in return for girl currency, g-coin. Part of the experience includes keeping track of the currency she earns, spent, and pending.
